DESCRIPTION:Lake Arts Council and Lake Area Camera Club present PHOTO QUEST 2024 Amateur Photography Contest and Exhibit Saturday\, Sept. 28\, 2024 At Stone Crest Mall\, Lake Arts Council Office AWARDS CEREMONY 5:30 P.M. - 6:30 P.M. This contest is to give amateur photographers (earning less than $500.00 gross per year from photography excluding contest winnings) an opportunity to exhibit their art and receive recognition for their work. Film and Digital Photography are equally welcomed. The Categories for this year are: 1. Wildlife and Nature 2. Abstracts and Story Telling 3. Landscapes and Scenics 4. Travel 5. Architecture and Machines Specifications: Please read carefully 1. Print dimensions: No larger than 11" x 14". 2. Prints may be color or monochrome (i.e. black and white\, sepia\, cyanotype\, etc.) 3. Prints must be mounted WITHOUT A BORDER on white foam board only. Foam board must be no larger than the print. Photos that have mats around them will NOT be accepted\; we judge on photo quality only. 4. Submit as many photos as you wish. The entry fee is $5.00 per photo. Checks should be made payable to: Lake Arts Council\; VISA\, MasterCard are also available. 5. No images will be accepted after the entry deadline (see below). 6. Previous Photo Quest Winning Images will be disqualified and the entry fee not refunded. 7. Identification is required and is to be attached to the back center of the foam board for each photo. 8. Prints not meeting specifications and requirements will NOT be accepted and the entry fee will NOT be refunded. There will be 2 judges that are in no way connected to the Lake Arts Council or Lake Area Camera Club. If you have any questions\, please call Lake Arts Council at 573-964-6366.
